About This Job:


Care Physical Therapy is a growing outpatient physical therapy center looking for new talent to add to our team of all-stars. As a new, high-paced facility there is plenty of opportunities for you to grow with us. We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant for a floater position who can travel between our clinics and help us meet our goals and standards for the comprehensive, personalized, and stand-out care we provide. Responsibilities:


- Provide physical therapy treatments consistent with the professional and ethical standards of the A.P.T.A for the Physical Therapy Assistant

- Coordinate with other disciplines for effective total patient care

- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery

- Communicate patients' progress through legible documentation and weekly summaries in patients’ medical records

- Participate in the discharge planning process to ensure continued patient care as needed

- Provide patient and family instruction if needed

- Keep up with daily documentation using WebPT in a timely fashion

- Meet weekly with the team to discuss progress in the workplace and to ensure maximum patient wellness

- Contributes to a team philosophy within the department and the company

- Delegate work assignments and other responsibilities to support staff as needed

- Secures equipment for patients and department supplies as needed

- Willing to perform other duties as assigned

- Punctual and dependable.



Qualifications:

- A licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Michigan

- Good communication and social skills allowing for patient relatability.

- Able to reliably commute between our clinics in Southfield and Flint Michigan.

- 1 year or more prior experience as a physical therapy assistant

- Organized and compassionate

Compensation:

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
